Ouch! Hope he get a new one soon! No, I’m not saying this because of the comic, but because I know how terrible it is to loose a Job. Wish you luck Bob!

    this series ever coming back?

Not trying to tell you how to run your comic but typically the way most webcomics start to make money is just by keep coming out for free on a free webcomic site and then eventually get some patrons. But if you wait for people to pay before making it you just slowly die like thewotch did.

Even if you don’t color it or simplify the art but keep releasing it youll end up getting more follows and finding people willing to support the book so you can put more time into it. As it is now i think less and less people are even remembering to check and see if this site still exists.

And there are plenty of nice free sites to have webcomics online now so you don’t need to pay for hosting.

    Tarek,

Thanks for checking in and appreciate the input. We are still here and still planning for the future. The comic is going to continue, apologies for the long delay.

Hosting isn’t really the issue here. It’s the cost for the quality of art that we’re committed to deliver for the comic. When the work situation is resolved, we’ll be resuming our normal frequency of posting, and at that time, the donation plan would be paying for ‘extra’ pages beyond the normal once a week. We heard steady comments about wanting the pages to come faster, and this would be the plan. i.e. I’m happy to pay for the art cost for one page a week to keep the story moving and any patrons or donations can increase that frequency.

Thanks again to everyone who read and hopefully enjoyed the comic, I’ll try to come in more often and give updates.

I hope y’all get this comic rolling again! Hell if you put up ads on the site, I would click that shit a bunch of times to get some ad revenue going your way! There isn’t really many other comics like this that I’ve found 🙁 Hope you all are doing well!

    Patchy,

Thanks for the kind words, we’re still around and trying to get a plan together to get the comic moving again. The magic 8-ball says trends are positive 🙂

Everyone that still comes by once in a while, thanks for the support and the team hopes that we can return to offering a story that we’re really excited about soon.

    Bob

Hello everyone! An update for those loyal readers who check back here periodically. A new picture done by a friendly artist ilolamai (http://ilolamai.deviantart.com/) showing our heroes enjoying one of the climate anomalies found on the island of Varia. Specifically a patch of the island that is permanently winter that happens to be near a nice warm beach! Click on the image to view a larger version.

What does this mean? We’re back! The next couple months we’re going to get the engines rolling again and building up a comic buffer again. This should mean that we should re-start story comics sometime in March.

Was going to post this yesterday, but assumed nobody would believe it. Next page is ready but buffer isn’t, so we’re going to wait a little bit longer before we start posting. i.e. will get going soon!
