After Dark lets you see more private moments that generally happen off camera. These special pages will happen from time to time and 'enhance' the reader's experience. These pages are canon but you don't need to read them to keep up with the story. Those that enjoy the After Dark pages can consider donating, as all donations will go towards adding more After Dark content as the story continues. More info here!
If you like the comic but cannot donate as much or as often as you like, you can still help the comic grow and thrive by taking 30 seconds of time and vote for us on top web comics. You can vote once a day, and the count is reset each month, so vote early and vote often. :)
So that’s all that was causing the transformation? Something sort of like a tarot card that was separated from its deck?
Methinks the card(s) are related to that ‘weapon against evil’ the cat was talking about back on page 113: http://www.author-wars.com/page-113/ Both seem to have an Egyptian theme. Perhaps it misfired? 🙂
Awwwww, Kitty helped Ian. What a good little fur baby. Now it just needs to make her master a magical girl for real! 😀
What exactly did Kitty do? They nibbled the card, which caused the deck to ‘floosh’?
Huh, yeah, my first impression was that the cat picked up the card in his mouth and put it back on the deck, but it isn’t clear in panel 5 that this is the case. He could be doing arcane gestures off panel in panel 5 as well…hmmm…
I can confirm that the yet-to-be-named kitty did place the card back on top of the deck, apologies if this was not clearer in the page.
As for speculation about the origin of the deck, there will be a little more about it later but the cat does seem to know how it functions if that’s a clue.
Thanks for the comments everyone, it’s always appreciated 🙂
The After Dark image shows the ’cause’ of what happened to Ian in the previous panels. As with other After Dark images, they are canon but also NSFW in most cases and so are optional to the story. If you do go check it, click the link above and enjoy 🙂
